After coming back home I decided I didn’t want that feeling of confusion again, so I started looking for something that would help me build everyday communication skills instead of just memorizing word lists. I tried a couple of mobile apps first, but most of them felt repetitive after a while. Eventually I switched to a more structured online course where lessons are organized into small topics like greetings, common questions, travel situations, and casual conversation. The program I ended up sticking with is the one you can see details about there, and honestly it works pretty well for my routine. What I personally like is that the lessons aren’t extremely long, so you don’t need a full hour to practice. Sometimes I just spend 10–20 minutes reviewing phrases or repeating pronunciation exercises. Another thing I noticed is that practicing out loud makes a huge difference. At first I felt awkward talking to my phone or laptop, but it really helps with confidence later when you actually speak to people.
