hey fawn, hey scarlet ^^ <3 this is going to come a long time after i said it would. i'm trying to organize it into two parts, each with sub-parts - ideas we're (mostly) set on carrying out, and ideas we're still pondering.

Word Updating + Group Points
we all know that we're doing the individual groups for word updating - one group for each leader. we've already made the groups:

we're planning on having an in-cabin competition between these three groups. you can earn group points by doing certain things, like adding to a storyline-related prompt, completing in-cabin dailies and weeklies, finishing the scavenger hunt, and completing in-cabin weeklies.
Potions
these "potions" will be put somewhere in our cabin description (i'm assuming) so campers can always access them. when the instructions are completed - or the ingredients are put together - the campers will receive a matching profile picture for our cabin.
Cabin Theme + Storyline
our cabin colors are green (#1f7d38) and blue (#033b8f). our theme is a fantasy forest, hehe ^^
our intro storyline - the paragraph(s) at the start of the description to introduce the theme - will be about the camper running from a monster in the forest, then coming across the safe region, which is what we call our cabin.
the safe region is surrounded by a forcefield that protects us from the monsters in the forest.
Storyline Prompts
(this is what i think we decided on, just so you know)
we'll have a bunch of prompts based on our storyline/setting that campers can access and add to at any time. before they contribute to a prompt, they'd have to comment in the main fantasy cabin and check to make sure no one else is planning on adding at the same time as them. they'd just have to comment something along the lines of "adding to prompt three!" (or whichever prompt they're actually adding to of course heh) and make sure no one else is planning on contributing to the same prompt as them.
you'd have to write a certain amount of words to gain points for your group.
(note - this section includes ideas i just thought of as i was writing this :p)
Word Updating + Group Points
about the scavenger hunt - for those, maybe some could be leading the camper around scratch. a clue could be "go to the person's profile who leading our sibling cabin". then other clues can lead them back to our cabin, and the second-final clue would be something along the lines of "from our cabin description, go to your group leader's profile". from there, it would tell them to notify their leader by commenting "i finished the scavenger hunt" and nothing more. then that leader could visit their profile and (privately) ask them for proof.
OR - maybe after each clue, the camper would comment "clue x completed" and the leader would privately give them the next clue.
(again, this is all brainstorming ^^)
for the in-cabin weeklies, would it be tasks similar to the ones in main cabin weeklies - just storyline related?
about group points - here is a system i think would work, but it can easily be edited.
i had a little idea about team names for each group - each team could be a mythical creature of some sort. just for a bit of fun ^^
Potions
there could potentially be some potions that can lead to other prizes, too - probably group points. putting certain ingredients together would earn you group points, and the harder the mix/tasks, the more points you earn.
if we had a forum with all the ingredients laid out and had different combinations listed underneath the ingredients list, that would make what i said above easier.
Cabin Theme + Storyline
uh, not much to add here :p we've mostly figured everything out for this, as far as i know.
otherwise, it's just little details - what should we call the campers? (citizens, residents, etc.)
what should the campers call us? (stick with leaders or have a different title?)

all i had for this section were some rules that i personally think we should put in place.
